“I wanted to say thanks for all your help this past year in helping me getting started with triathlons. Even though I only participated in one late season mini Tri I had a great time preparing, training and competing.” – WM
“I just want you to know how proud I am of you. I have been coaching w/ you long before the days of sbr and you have not changed a bit. You are caring and compassionate and have a true heart for people. Today was amazing to see how much an impact sbr has had on the tri community. That is all b/c of you !!!!!! I will always be a supporter of you and your vision.” – SB
“I'm really ready for Ironman! Thanks again for getting me here. You are a great coach and appreciate your patience.” – JR
“It is amazing when you walk into a room and one person stands out above the rest. You have that glow of health and enjoyment of life. It is easy to tell that you enjoy what you are doing. Good luck in your endeavors.” – CB
“I want you to know that I feel my training is right on target and I'm continually pushing myself and getting stronger physically and mentally with the workouts. My endurance is gradually increasing and I have eased into a new exciting lifestyle of exercise and nutrition that is to my benefit. Others around me are constantly intrigued however few will make such a commitment to help themselves, which I find unfortunate. I could not be doing this without your fine tuned workouts and encouragement and constant feedback and advice. I enjoy the challenge knowing that someone is concerned about my progress and success. Thankyou Sally. I enjoy being your client!” – LM
“Its the bomb! Sally seriously has the most postive attitude, is so forward thinking, and tri knowledgable person I know and has introduced me to understand why this sport is so fabulous. Being a TB athlete has brought me happiness, friends, and a new chapter in my life! Thanks Sally!” – CJ
“You are amazing and I would not be getting out of that pool on that day without your inspiration. I will always treasure that special gift you presented me.” – AL
“Sally I attended your semi-seminar Tue. at Maplewood. I just wanted to thank you very much for your time and efforts. The information was so valuable ironman aspirations i can't overstate how much i appreciate it and you. So with much aplomb, i really wanted to thank you.” – Jeff
Sally: thank you for holding the swim clinic last Friday. I was extremely nervous about the mass start and the clinic really helped. I had only been in open water twice before that -- at the practices at New Town the two Saturdays prior -- so I didn't really know what to expect. I ended up going with the Quartermax last wave and felt comfortable the whole time -- I didn't have to stop to regroup at all. Thanks again, and I enjoy your newsletters every month.” – BE
“I just want to thank you for all your support while I bonked after 80+ miles. You all were so encouraging and never a disparaging word......I can't thank you enough!!! I learned more valuable lessons and hope to have better nutrition next time out. Sally thanks for being such a great leader! What a sight to see you pedalling and leading the pack!! Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You all ROCK!!!” – JS
“I love training with you. You are always so fun and inspirational Sally. I am so thankful I have you in my life and I hope this is just the beginning for our relationship...wow, it sounds like i have a crush on you hahaha! But what I mean is, IF i do move away I hope we remain working close with each other and keep this great friendship. You are an amazing person Sally and I know everyone who gets the privilege to meet you thinks the same thing. Just wanted to let you know YOU ROCK!” – KB
“I just wanted to let you know that I'm very pleased with this training! I can see how your giving me doses of intensity, then Backing it off a little. I can't see it with times or watts yet, but my resting hr is droping fast and with my schedule I keep, that's impressive. I can't really elaborate, I'm pecking this out on a pda, but just wanted to say thanks! I think it's going great! Gotta sleep now :)” – JS
“You were truly missed today by all of your buddies. Kate and I were singing your praises. You are so very inspiring. You speak and we listen. You call and we come. Because of your wonderful personality you are easy to be around and we want to be around you. Kate and I aspire to be more like you.
“Thank you for being who you are. Without the trail runs at Castlewood and Queeny Park I probably would not have been prepared for the Castlewood Cup. I took first place in my age division thanks to you. We all did well thanks to you!!!!!” – ML
“I just want to say thank you for being an awesome coach. Although I haven't updated training peaks in a few weeks I have been following every workout. By the way, when we started working out in August I was 297lbs. Today I am officially 267lbs. The weight has really dropped since I started Paleo. Thank you Sally!” – JG
“Sally has been the best coach. Having only done 1 half ironman before this year I set out to do a full with another half along the way knowing I had a lot to learn. Historically I have been injury prone known for overdoing it. Professor Sally taught me so much and monitored my training so well I made it all year injury free...well except the one time I did more than she prescribed...that was 1 month from the Ironman...not to worry (I did anyhow), Sally set me up with a schedule to be rehabbed and ready by the BIG day. Finishing Ironman Florida was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. During the race when doubts crept in I thought about the hundreds of 4:30am mornings getting to the pool, followed by a bike or a run, the centuries on the weekends, missed family time, sacrificed social times and all the sacrifices my family made to help me get there...I would not quit...I did not quit. Crossing the line with my son was unbelievable and worth it all. Sally Drake you are awesome!!! If you are reading this just know that you too can be an Ironman and that Sally Drake can help you get there injury free and locked and loaded on race day.” – CP
“Sally, Thank you so much for all of your support!!!!! Yesterday was one of the best days of my life, and believe me that's saying a lot considering how wonderful my life is. Last night I slept a total of 3 hours. I am so excited!! I feel like there is nothing in this world that I cannot do. I want you to thank Ryan and I am so embarrassed because I forgot the names of the other great folks. You all never let me quit. My family and I spent hours talking about you all and how wonderful everything was. Sally, your coaching and personality has touched my life. You are officially part of the family now!!” – JG
“I am ready; many thanks to you.
“There aren’t many things that I can look back on my life and say “one single person influenced me to do this”. But YOU were my inspiration for this Ironman, as well as doing triathlons period. I benefitted greatly from your experience, advice and direction (and to think that I almost gave it up after my first year).
“Somehow, I believe that I am going to have an even greater amount of respect for you come Sunday night.
“Thank you for everything Sally. I Owe You!” – SD
